Examination and Promotion Criteria :

Three Monthly Examination, Class Test and Annual Examination will be held in each and every subject. The total of the Terminal Average and Annual Average from the Yearly Average.

Promotion is decided on the basis of whole year’s performance.

Forty percent of the Monthly marks and sixty percent of the Annual marks constitute the Yearly Average.

Zero is Awarded for absence in the Examination.

STAR AND RANK

RED STAR : 80% in aggregate and above
BLUE STAR : 60% in aggregate and above
GREEN STAR : 40% in aggregate and above
Minimum Pass Mark in any subject is 40%

NO STAR or RANK will be awarded if there is failure or absence in any subject in the Annual Examination.

Promotion will not be granted if
i) The Yearly Average of a pupil fails to secure the required
aggregate, which is 40% of total marks.
ii) A pupil fails in two main subjects.
iii) A pupil fails in more than two subjects.

The name of the students who are not promoted to the next higher
class will be truck off the rolls unless the guardians of the plucked
students meet the Headmaster within three days of the publication of
the result.
